HENRIQUE SCHMEIL

Henrique Schmeil, since the beginning of his photographic journey, has drawn attention to global and social issues. Citizen of the world, activist and with an African heart, he traveled to India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Vietnam and Thailand. He traveled to Tanzania, Ethiopia, Angola, Morocco, Kenya and Namibia.

Restless, today he divides his heart between the African continent and the Amazon. Living in Manaus, he dedicates himself to local causes. “defending the basic human rights of all Brazilian brothers and sisters, especially the indigenous communities of the Amazon who live in a situation of abandonment”.
